I did cost of living comparison between Calgary and Playa about 3 years ago and the difference was about 30% back then. I am not surprised that the gap has become 56% now. The sad reality is it will cost more to live in Calgary / Alberta starting in Jan’17 thanks to the “more taxes, the merrier” NDP government.
